AI readiness assessment
A short assessment before a long build
Two to three weeks, fixed scope and fixed price. We profile the data, map the systems, test one hard question end to end and price the real work. You keep the architecture and roadmap whatever you decide next.
The problem
Most AI budgets are committed before anyone has looked at the data
Estimates made from a slide are usually wrong in the same direction. The data turns out to be messier, the access model harder and the compliance questions arrive late.
The assessment is the cheapest way to find out whether the build is worth doing, and what it will actually take.
What we build
What does our AI readiness assessment service include?
Two to three weeks, fixed scope and price, a written architecture and costed roadmap you keep.
Data profiling
Deterministic profiling of the sources the use case depends on: completeness, quality, joins, ownership and sensitive fields.
System and access mapping
Where the data lives, who can see what, and which regulatory, residency or procurement constraints are non-negotiable.
One hard question, end to end
We pick the hardest representative question and make it work on your real data, which surfaces the real risks early.
Written architecture
An architecture document, not a slide with boxes on it, including the options we rejected and why.
Risk register
What will be hard, what we would not do, and what could stop the project, stated plainly.
Costed roadmap and go or no-go
A phased plan with a cost against each phase, a named team, and a recommendation to stop if stopping is the right answer.

FAQ
AI readiness assessment: common questions
What do you need from us to start?
The decision or workflow you want to change in one sentence, where the data lives and roughly how much there is, any regulatory, residency or procurement constraints, the date something has to work by, and who will own the system afterwards.
Do we have to use Involabs for the build?
No. You own the architecture, risk register and roadmap. Some clients build internally or with another partner, and the documents are written so that works.
Will you tell us not to build?
Yes, if that is the answer. If the problem is a process problem, or a simpler system would do, the report will say so.
How is it priced?
Fixed price, agreed before we start, based on the number of sources and the complexity of the question. We share the figure after a first call.
Tell us the problem and the constraints.
We will come back with what the assessment would cover, how long it would take and its fixed price.
